Automatic side-sealing packaging machine

The DM Pack 3-belt automatic side-sealing packaging machine is a compact and easy-to-use solution, designed to guarantee application flexibility and efficient integration into industrial packaging lines. The 500 version is available with an integrated 3 m × 1.2 m shrink tunnel, optimising footprint and process continuity.

The high versatility of the machine allows it to handle a wide range of products, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, food and other industrial sectors. The packaging machine is suitable for packaging single products or multipacks, with manual loading or automatic in-line loading, optionally supported by additional systems developed by DM Pack, such as stackers, grouping units and diverters.

The highly accessible structure, operable from both sides, facilitates operation, maintenance and cleaning. The operator station can be configured in three different positions thanks to the rotating touch screen, ensuring ergonomics and ease of use.

The functional design of the machine is developed to simplify routine maintenance and guarantee high hygiene standards. The packaging machine is available in painted or stainless steel versions and can be customised through the selection of different optional devices, according to specific production requirements.

The STAR EVO automatic side-sealing packaging machine by DM Pack is available in COMBO configuration, with an integrated compact tunnel, or with a separate tunnel, to adapt to different line layouts and production volumes. The BABY version is equipped with a 300 mm sealing bar, while the other available sizes include 500, 600, 800 and up to 1100 mm, with standard heights of 300 mm or optional heights up to 400 mm. The 500 and 600 versions are also available in COMBO configuration, with an integrated single-chamber tunnel.

Thanks to optional and double sealing systems, the machine can work with all the main films available on the market, including polyolefin, polyethylene and polypropylene, both flat and centre-folded, neutral or printed, including biodegradable and compostable films such as PLA and Mater-Bi, meeting the requirements of sustainable packaging.

The STAR EVO is available in intermittent version or with box motion system, according to the required speeds, and can also be configured with a rotary sealing bar for high-speed production. Special versions with intermittent or translating vertical sealing bar are also available for specific applications.

The machine is offered in different size configurations, up to 1100 mm in width, 400 mm in height and with virtually unlimited length, offering high application flexibility. For packaging large products, alternative solutions such as bundling machines or bagging machines from the DM Pack range can be evaluated.
